I am really awful water marble nail art.
If you are unfamiliar with water marbling, you can read about it here.
Basically, you put drops of polish into water and it spreads on the surface and you swirl the colors together.
I have tried for hours at a time... but for some reason, it never works out very well for me!
I wanted to give it another shot using some Thanksgiving colors.
After 2 attempts tonight, here are the results:
Not too great, but I do like the color combinations.
Colors used: Essie "Sew Psyched", "Orange It's Obvious" & "Very Structured", Avon "Sunshine" and LA Colors "Hot Blooded"
I noticed that the Essie polishes did not really enjoy being put into water, and were very resistant to spreading on the surface.
I think next time I water marble, I will try to avoid Essie.
This is truly amazing . You're a perfect artist to me :)

PS.
Could you help me and comment if Follow Mee ? I need more traffic ;D
I think the best thing is to use room-temperature distilled water but it's still so tricky!!! I will check out Follow Mee :)
DeleteI've tried this several times and it has never worked! I thought that maybe my nail polish wasn't right or something, it looks so easy when you see people do it! I think you did a pretty good job! I love the colors!

Thank you soo much! You are definitely right, certain nail polishes do not work well with this method which makes it very difficult!
DeleteOh this is looking great. I am tired of telling you that you are too talented :D

Oh wow! Well, this looks pretty damn good to me, and it's especially hard to get the effect right when you're using more solid colors versus pastels too.
